Petri Ruikka is an artist, designer and producer working with spatial and screen-based moving image works. Petri has also designed physical interface based installations and curated/organized a number electronic / experimental / media art & culture events such as Pixelache festival.
Petri received his MA from MediaLab at Aalto University School of Art and Design in 2011. Petri has been teaching video design and visualisations since 2006 in various art universities.
Petri formed the production company Woland together with Henrik Axlund in 2010. Since the beginning of 2014 Petri has worked as an independent artist and designer.
Petri interests include human movement based visualizations, visual music and experimental cinema, physical and collaborative interfaces for human-computer interaction and emerging new models of culture.
